  • Account Balances and Loan Balances are available through email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ), on phone through delegates/representatives. The balances will be available on the Web once we launch Internet Banking.
  • Account Statements – dispatched to the members on quarterly basis.
  • Funds Transfers – members can transfer part of their Education scheme shares or from FOSA accounts to the Main Savings Scheme so as to boost the shares therein. However, one should not have an outstanding loan in the education scheme. A notice of 60 days is required.
  • A member who withdraws from the society and rejoins later will be treated as a new Member. (Member may enjoy Fosa products immediately but will have to wait for 6 months to qualify for loans)

FAQs

Q. What is the membership joining fee?
A. Joining fee is Kshs 500.00 which can be paid by cash or bankers cheque.

Q. As a new member, when can I start benefiting from the risk fund?
A. A new member qualifies to benefit from the risk fund after 12 months of regular contributions.

Q. How often do you issue member's statements?
A. Statements are issued on a quarterly basis.

Q. If one quits the banking industry, can one continue to be a member?
A. Yes, one can continue being member.

Q. After withdrawing from the society, am I allowed to rejoin?
A. One can rejoin after 6 months as long as one is still working in the bank or a financial institution.

Q. Can I do a partial withdrawal of my shares if I don't have a loan?
A. Partial withdrawal of the shares is not allowed unless one is withdrawing from the society.

Q. How soon can I get my shares refund after withdrawing from the society?
A. Shares are refunded after 60 days.

Q. After clearing a development loan, how long am I supposed to wait before applying for another one?
A. One can apply immediately.
